UW Cares helps households that have fallen behind on their water bills due to a temporary financial crisis. A financial crisis can happen to anyone, regardless of age, income or family situation. A crisis is often due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a job loss or illness. Applicants must demonstrate a temporary financial need and a history of good-faith payments with United Water.
